Two Thursdays ago, I spotted an interesting recipe on
ShakeStir from Timothy Miner of the Long Island Bar called the Six Weeks Since Punxsutawney. This 2014 recipe must have been for a Spring-themed competition for the name refers to the month and a half wait if the infamous Pennsylvania groundhog sees his shadow on February 2nd. Once prepared, the Six Weeks Since Punxsutawney greeted the senses with a floral and grapefruit bouquet. Next, a caramel sip launched into Bourbon, grapefruit, and herbal flavors on the swallow.
