Two Mondays ago, I returned to the set of online recipe flashcards for the Patterson House in Nashville and selected the Feed Me, Seymour from their 2022 menu. On paper, it reminded me of the Cynar-Chartreuse Daiquiri, the
Drink of Laughter and Forgetting, mashed up with the citrus and modifiers of the
Jet Pilot. Once assembled, this tribute to
The Little Shop of Horrors gave forth a clove, anise, and allspice aroma. Next, caramel, grapefruit, and lime on the sip blossomed into herbal, cinnamon, and herbaceous flavors on the swallow.
