1 oz Mezcal (Peloton de la Muerte)
1 oz Ancho Reyes Chile Liqueur
3/4 oz Cynar
2 dash Bittermens Mole Bitters
Stir with ice, strain into an old fashioned glass with a large ice cube, and garnish with a grapefruit twist.

Two Mondays ago after getting home from our Saratoga Springs adventure, I needed a nightcap. Therefore, I returned to the online recipe flashcards from Sundry & Vice in Cincinnati and landed on the Marco! Polo! that
Yelp menu and drink photos place to 2017. Since there was some similarity to
True Romance with mezcal, Ancho Reyes, and Cynar, I was game. Once mixed, the Marco! Polo! ventured to the nose with grapefruit, vegetal, chili peper, and smoke aromas. Next, caramel and roast notes on the sip transitioned into vegetal, dried fruit, smoke, chocolate, and spice flavors on the swallow.
