1/2 oz Mezcal (Fidencio)
1/2 oz Apricot Liqueur (Rothman & Winter)
1/2 oz Lime Juice
2 dash Peychaud's Bitters
Shake with ice and strain into a cocktail coupe. Perhaps increasing the apricot and lime to 3/4 oz each would give this a bit more body.

quality versus quantity does not have to be a winner-take-all proposition.

I just did this up with 3/4 oz lime, 1/2 oz apricot, heavy barspoon of agave, pinch of salt. It was lovely and surprisingly elegant! Thanks!
