For National Rum Day two weeks ago,
Imbibe posted the recipe for Daddy's Daiq by Daddy Long Legs a/k/a Michael George at Water Witch in Salt Lake City. I had met Daddy Long Legs at Portland Cocktail Week in 2022, so I was intrigued to try this drink that reminded me of a less aggressive
Nuclear Daiquiri. In the glass, Daddy's Daiq broadcasted a grassy, lime, and herbaceous aroma. Next, a lime-driven sip gave way to grassy funky rum, herbaceous, and ginger flavors on the swallow.
