3/4 oz Simple Syrup
Dry shake and pour into a Collins glass rinsed with absinthe (Butterfly), fill with crushed ice, and float Angostura Bitters (3 dash).

Used Appleton 12. A funk delivery system. Loved the unusual dry shake. Misted my absinthe - I prefer it to rinsing. I might up the kisses of absinthe and angostura just a touch next go around. Thanks for Cocktail Virgin - you keep my kitchen bar humming!
Cheers! The rinse step was silly since it felt like it had the same effect as putting it into the mix.
